Volunteer

Collingwood Children’s Farm is a non-profit organisation which engages with people in the community who are experiencing adversity. The Farm supports social inclusion by delivering a range of programs which develop self-esteem, self-worth and connectedness.

Volunteers enrich our workplace and contribute in so many ways to the ongoing operation of the Farm and its activities.

For Corporates and other organisations we offer a Team Experience program which provides a tour, morning tea and participation in Farm tasks, all at a reasonable cost. For further information, please check our Team Experience webpage.

Please note: Volunteer roles very rarely involve working directly with animals; if spending time with animals is your main interest, consider purchasing a Farm Membership. Membership entitles a person to unlimited visits for 12 months.

Applications for volunteer positions are open to people who are 18+ years old.

We apologise that currently we do not have school work experience opportunities. Keep an eye on our socials and our website for future announcements.

Collingwood Children’s Farm is largely funded through gate entry fees, events and sale of produce, as are its community programs.

If we are unable to assist with an opportunity, you may wish to refer to the Volunteering Victoria website and search for alternatives.
