Tickets
Tickets can be booked online before your visit using the calendar below, or simply on arrival from our friendly Visitor Experience team at Reception.
Please note that tickets are strictly non-refundable unless under extreme circumstances.
Collingwood Children’s Farm is a not-for-profit community organisation.
Your entry fees help us to care for our animals, the land, and fund educational and community programs.
We are open every day of the year, including public holidays.
Opening hours are 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Last entry is at 4:00 pm.

Student Card Holder 18+ yrs: $14
Australian Seniors Card Holder: $14
Victorian Institute of Teaching Card Holder: $14
Community Radio Subscription Card Holder: $14
Seniors tickets are available to holders of an Australian Seniors Card where other concessions are not applicable.
To qualify for a discount teachers must: present their VIT card, provide their email address and agree to receive marketing communications from CCF. The discount applies to the VIT card holder only, not other members of their party.

Farm entry is free for Carer/Companion Card holders visiting with their child or client listed on the card.
These cards entitle you to concession entry:
Department of Veterans’ Affairs Card, Health Care Card and Pensioner Concession Card.
Farm Members

Farm memberships are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable. Thank you for your cooperation.
Please introduce yourself at Reception upon arrive so that we can check you in.
Children under 16 years old must be accompanied/supervised by an adult.
If they are not accompanied by an adult, they will be refused entry.
Visitors must comply with current Victorian government COVID-19 guidelines.

Please note:
Our Daily Activities Board is updated by our farmers daily. All activities are subject to change, taking in factors like weather and our animals’ health, so feel free to give us a call if you want to check an activity’s availability before coming down.
On weekends, public and school holidays, we aim to run the full day’s schedule above.
On weekdays during school term, our afternoon activities are subject to change.
To look after our animals, if the temperature hits 30 degrees our guinea pig activities will cease and if it hits 35 degrees all other animal-related activities will cease for the day.
To protect our birds from a current Avian Influenza outbreak, please do not enter the Farm if you have pet birds, have recently visited another farm or zoo with birds, or have been in the restricted or control areas (Meredith, Lethbridge and Terang). Avian Influenza is not a risk to human health or the eggs we sell, but it is a serious risk to the lives of our birds.

Getting Here
The Farm is a hidden gem at the end of 18 St Heliers Street, Abbotsford. Getting here is easy!
By Train
Take the Mernda or Hurstbridge train line to Victoria Park Railway Station. Walk down Johnston Street for 10 minutes towards Kew.
Turn right into Clarke Street, then left into St Heliers Street. The Farm is at the end of St Heliers Street, down the hill.
By Bus
Take the 200 or 207 bus route to the Johnston/Clarke Street stop. Turn left into St Heliers Street.
By Bicycle
Take the Capital City cycling and walking trail.
By Car
Drive to St Heliers Street, Abbotsford. Parking is available in the Abbotsford Convent car park, across the road from the Convent and just before the end of St Heliers Street. Turn left from the pay station towards the end of the street.

For hourly rates and more information visit the Abbotsford Convent website. Collingwood Children’s Farm does not manage this carpark and we cannot validate parking.
Limited-time free parking is available on Yarra Boulevard, just off Studley Park Road.

Accessibility
Collingwood Children’s Farm places great importance in being accessible to all and we welcome your feedback on any ways in which we can improve access.
The Farm is accessed from St Heliers Street via asphalt and dirt paths, as well as a wooden boardwalk and bridge, all with gentle gradients.
Both bathroom facilities and the Farm Cafe can be accessed from within the Farm via ramps or directly from the Main Yarra Trail. Farm bathroom facilities are unisex and include several larger stalls with with grab rails.
Surfaces around the Farm vary: paths and laneways are typically gravel or dirt with gentle gradients, areas around the Barn are paved with brick and paddocks are covered in pasture grass.
