Terms and Conditions – Corporate Volunteering

  1. Payment

    1. Collingwood Children’s Farm requires payment in full 14 days prior to the event date.

    2. All Corporate Volunteering purchases must be made via the Humanitix platform via credit card or invoice. Unfortunately we cannot waive booking fees or accept over-the-phone card payments.

    3. We will hold a session from sale for up to 14 days, no later than 21 days prior to the event date

  2. Alterations to team size

    1. Humanitix bookings may be altered up to 14 days prior to the event.

    2. We will accept card or cash payment for up to three additional attendees on the day.

  3. Cancellation or postponement - by Client request

    1. You may cancel your booking for any reason 14 days in advance of the original session date, in exchange for a full refund minus booking fees.

    2. To action a self-service refund or cancellation, use the Manage Order button on your order confirmation email.

    3. You may request a postponement for any reason up to 7 days in advance of your session. Alternative dates subject to availability.

    4. The Client may request a postponement up to 72 hours in advance of a session without penalty, if the daily maximum temperature is forecast to meet or exceed 35°C. Alternative dates subject to availability.

    5. Should it become necessary to cancel your Corporate Volunteering session, we invite you to convert your purchase into a charitable donation to Collingwood Children’s Farm. You will receive a certification for tax purposes and our deepest gratitude.

  4. Cancellation or postponement - by request of Collingwood Children’s Farm

    1. In the event of adverse weather, staffing and resourcing issues or other unforeseen event, Collingwood Children’s Farm reserves the right to postpone or cancel Corporate Volunteering sessions up to 24 hours in advance.

    2. If we have to make a last-minute cancellation, the Client receives a full refund, minus booking fees.

  5. Waivers

    1. All attendees must complete the Waiver document prior to engaging Corporate Volunteering sessions. Signed waivers should be sent to reception@farm.org in advance, or delivered to reception upon your arrival.

  6. Arrival and start time

    1. In order to ensure a positive experience for everybody, we request that all volunteers are ready and waiting at the Meeting Point in front of the cafe at the beginning of the service portion - 10:15 am for morning sessions and 1:45 pm for afternoon sessions. Late arrivals will not forego in-person orientation.
